The PAR program is considered the premier corporate social responsibility program with an emphasis on Indigenous relations in Canada. PAR verifies corporate initiatives and outcomes in four key performance areas: Leadership Actions; Employment; Business Development; and Community Relationships. The PAR certification provides a high level of assurance to communities as the designation is supported by independent, third-party verification. In pursuing the designation, Maple Leaf Matting is demonstrating that they recognize the importance of Indigenous participation in the Canadian economy. PAR companies are also recognized as leading corporate citizens that have proven the business case for sustainable Indigenous relations.
